Chelsea Diehl Suicide Obituary, Graduate of Emerson College Dead

Meet Chelsea, a vibrant individual with a passion for the arts, education, and storytelling. Chelsea has had a varied and eventful life, culminating with a degree in acting and theatre education from Emerson College.

Chelsea launched her company, My College Audition, in 2008 to help young performers conquer the daunting college audition process. Samuel French, Smart College Visit, Nerd Wallet, College Express, and the Performing Arts Network are just a few of the prestigious platforms that have benefited from her writing expertise as a college audition coach. She has spoken at venues such as the New England Theater Conference, The Drama Book Shop, and Destination Broadway, among others, to impart her wisdom. Even though Chelsea left My College Audition in 2022, her influence in the industry is still felt.

In addition to her work in the field of performing arts education, Chelsea had the brilliant idea for Gadabout Maine, an interesting storytelling platform that highlights the state’s attractions. The beauty of her native state and her love of adventure are beautifully captured in her debut travel memoir, “Just Up The Road,” released by Islandport Press in October 2023. Gadabout Maine, Chelsea’s famous Substack Newsletter, is where she enthusiastically shares stories about her exploits in Maine.

Chelsea has been published in Down East Magazine for her travel writing. Being a well-respected authority on Maine travel, she has also been featured on 207, News Center Maine, and NPR’s Maine Calling.
